Roland earned his PhD in Finance from King’s College London where his research focused on the behaviour and performance of traders on social trading platforms. He holds an MSc in Finance from Cass Business School, a Bachelor in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, and has passed all three levels of the CFA designation. His research interests include market microstructure and market making in the areas of crypto currencies and foreign exchange.

Alex Preda is a professor at King’s College London and the main focus of his research is trader behavior in markets. His current research projects concern the impact of social media on behaviour in markets and professional rivalries in finance.
